Fue llevado de urgencia al hospital y luego trasladado a un centro especializado en cardiología, donde fue diagnosticado con fibrilación auricular (AFib), una condición cardíaca seria e inesperada. Para un joven que siempre ha sido muy saludable, respetuoso y dedicado a su deporte y estudios, esto fue un golpe muy duro.</em>

<div><em>Gracias a un milagro de Dios, Diego pudo salir del hospital y ahora está en proceso de recuperación. Sin embargo, su camino médico aún es incierto. Ahora enfrenta gastos médicos imprevistos, justo cuando está por comenzar su carrera universitaria.</em>

<div>Diego Lamberty moved to Florida a year ago to chase his dream of playing college baseball. He’s worked hard, stayed dedicated, and was scheduled to move into his college dorm tomorrow to begin this exciting new chapter.

<div>But just a few days ago, everything changed.

</div>

<div>While working at his summer job, Diego suddenly felt his heart racing uncontrollably. He was rushed to the ER and then transferred to a specialized cardiac hospital, where he was diagnosed with atrial fibrillation (AFib)—a serious and unexpected heart condition. For a young man who’s always been incredibly healthy, respectful, and devoted to his sport and studies, this was a huge shock to all of us.

<div>We weren't sure what his future would look like—not just in baseball, but in life.

<div>By the grace of God, Diego was released from the hospital and is slowly recovering. However, his medical journey is far from over. He now faces unexpected medical bills just as he begins his college education.
