<div>My name is Patrice Sarno, watching from New Jersey with a heart full of worry for my mother, Dianne Reid. It is a desperate feeling to see someone you love lose everything and be unable to physically reach them. Asking for help is never easy, but we have no other option.

</div>

<div>Hurricane Melissa didn't just damage her life; it erased it. Her home in Mandeville is a total loss, her farm is buried in mud and debris, and her entire livelihood is gone. We know relief is being sent to Jamaica, but with bureaucracy, red tape, and communities like Black River facing even greater devastation, we are turning to our own community so as not to strain the public system.

</div>

<div>To ensure she has immediate shelter while we tackle the long road to recovery, we are building a makeshift plywood structure, as the hotels are full. But this is only a temporary fix.

<div>How Your Donation Will Help Rebuild a Life from the Ground Up:

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>· $4,000 – Land Clearing &amp; Demolition: The critical first step to remove hazardous debris.

</div>

<div>· $15,000 – A Safe, Permanent Home: To construct a new, solid home from the foundation up.

</div>

<div>· $2,500 – Restore Her Livelihood: For seeds, saplings, and materials to rebuild.

</div>

<div>· $2,000 – Basic Necessities &amp; Tools: For essential food, water, and tools.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>We also welcome tangible donations of food, clothing, toiletries, and farm supplies, which can be sent directly to Mandeville. Please message me for details.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Every dollar goes directly to Dianne. Your support is more than a donation; it's a lifeline that helps her rebuild while allowing official aid to reach others with no network at all. Thank you for your kindness in her darkest hour.
