Helping Dean and Kelli Girodat

Dear family , friends, neighbors and communities , we ask that you take a moment to assist a very special and much loved family.
Kelli and Dean were married just over 2 yrs ago. They live in Hanna Alberta and are raising a family. Dean is a heavy duty mechanic at Sheerness Coal Mine, being a dedicated employee for more than 12 yrs. Early this year Dean started experiencing pain in his hands.   The severity of the symptoms rapidly made it impossible to do his job and as of April 2017 has been unable to work.

 Dean was diagnosed with Systemic Sclerosis , a debilating lung disease.  A double lung transplant is the only option  for Dean,  as the disease has been aggressive.  Assessments and  consultations, meetings and appointments, have become their daily routine.  This very serious condition has progressed much quicker than anyone could foreseen.
Dean is waiting to hear if he will be accepted for the transplant.  
Dean and Kelli will face many expenses such as travel, accommodations, food etc.  over the next days, weeks and months. Of course, the regular monthly bills will keep coming. It is important that Kelli is able to be with Dean 24/7. So she will leave her current job and also lose her income. They have a daughter still in school who will need care  in an environment that supports her continuing her education, as well as the emotional toll that this will have on her and her older brothers.
Please  help this family  by offering  financial assistance so they are able to prepare for and receive the transplant Dean desparetly needs. They need to dedicated themselves completely to  this journey.
