Helping Dave and Nancy Morrison

Dave and James were in a terrible automobile accident Friday February 14th. We are so grateful to report that James, while having a body full of muscle pain, was not seriously injured. We are quite sure he saved Dave’s life during the chaos of the accident by keeping his airway open. Dave was not able to walk away from this accident injury free. Dave has multiple  broken ribs, broken sternum, a punctured left lung, his left lung is fully collapsed, right lung is partially collapsed, broken nose, head contusions, eye socket is broken and the tissue of the eye itself is pinched. Which can lead to loss of eye if not QUICKLY repaired. After a Dr at OHSU saw his scans, Dave was flown to OHSU last night for immediate eye surgery. Surgery should be today February 16th. Nancy was able to travel by his side and will continue to be with him. We are unsure at this time how long Dave will be hospitalized and out of work.   Please keep our family in your good thoughts and prayers.
