Helping Darren Fight Stage 4 Cancer

Donation protected

Hi everyone, this is Darren - A loving husband and father to two beautiful boys.

Darren and his wife Bianca work for themselves and have been for the past 6 years. They have been together since they were 15 & 14 and have been life long partners.

2021 has turned into one of the most difficult years they've ever had to face as Darren who is 39 was recently diagnosed with stage 4 Oesophageal cancer. Darren received news that after numerous tests that the cancer has widely metastasized to his liver, para-aortic lymph nodes, brain, abdomen & adrenal gland. Darren’s type of cancer is very aggressive and an extremely rare combo especially for someone of his age. Darren will be commencing chemotherapy next week.

The last few weeks have been emotionally, physically and financially tough. He does everything in his power for his family and we’re hoping bring everyone together to help the best guy we know. Darren has got so much more living to do, watch his boys grow up and live his best life. The positivity these guys have is beyond words. Never give up and give it all. For anyone who’s met Darren, you know his loving heart and generous spirit. An absolute warrior who will give it everything he has.

Iorder to alleviate the astronomical financial pressures involved with his treatment and recovery, we have started this page so Darren and his family can focus on what matters, and not money. We would appreciate any support to help them financially with household bills, school and hospital expenses, give them one less worry to help get them through this very difficult time. This may make it possible to seek out costly medical innovations or allow the option of undertaking more advance treatments, perhaps even internationally if the current global pandemic will allow.

This could also help them with making some special memories as a family and some trips together too.

It’s hard to run a business and even harder when cash flow stops. Darren is now not allowed to drive until further notice, making it excruciatingly difficult to bring in funds for everyday expenses.

Darren has been advised by oncologists that his condition is terminal and incurable however with other non-conventional medicines we still have hope that Darren can survive far longer than the time the doctors anticipate

These guys truly deserve the world. Any donations, big or small would be gratefully received. Everyone’s support is very much appreciated.
