Helping Christie get back on her feet again

Christie was in my TESOL class in 2011.  After her completion of this course with us, she luckily landed a job as an ESL teacher in Vietnam in the same year. Christie has always been dearly loved, adored, and honored by her students. She had been teaching in Hanoi for almost 8 years until this sad news came...she was diagnosed with cervical cancer last year. Since then, Christie has undergone series of medical examinations and procedures and some of which are brachytherapy radiation and chemotherapy. Sadly, these procedures have depleted her savings. In addition, she put some of her valued possessions on sale just to be able to pay for her medical expenses which keep mounting up. In behalf of Christie, I would like to ask those who are able to share any amount. She really needs some financial help right now other than including her in our prayers. We hope that she’ll conquer cancer soon and get back on her feet again...she hopes to go back to teaching as soon as possible. Her students miss this awesome teacher who has been an inspiration to them and has made a huge difference in their life.  I know that Christie will be very grateful for any support or assistance extended to her.
