Helping Chris Weatherred's Family

Chris Weatherred was the voice of KGVE.  He passed away on 9/11 after a brief illness.  If you live in Grove, Oklahoma you may have never seen Chris but,  you have heard his voice.  He was THE DJ at KGVE.  He was the voice of Tradio, Cruise Nights, Weather Reports and the daily music that they play.  Chris was truly a diamond in the rough and an all around nice guy.  He was fun to work with and he always wanted every aspect of his job to be perfect.  It's now our turn to be heard by helping his wife Janet and daughter Nancy with the piles of medical bills left to pay and funeral expenses.  Chris and his voice will be missed by many who live in our great community.  Rest In Peace My Friend.
