Helping Chris recover from his motorbike accident

G'day, this GFM has been setup to help our beloved mate/brother/partner/son ease the financial burden of recovering from a severe motorbike accident that he had yesterday (24/6/23). Chris was riding with a few of his mates when the accident occured. He will be out of work for quite some time and we want to help him anyway we can. Post-accident analysis has shown that he has had a compound fracture to his left tibia resulting in a titanium rod the length of his tibia, broken a rib, torn aorta, damage to his windpipe, collapsed lung, ruptured his spleen as well as some severe damage to a kidney, resulting in it needing to be removed.

Chris is one of the nicest blokes you could meet and is the type of bloke that would give a stranger the shirt off his back to make sure he doesn't go without. It's deeply saddening to know that a bloke of his nature has to endure these injuries. In light of it all, he has still managed to crack a smile and not let it consume him.

Whilst we understand GFM isn't for everyone, we deeply appreciate anything you can give to help him whether it be big or small. Anything you give will be going towards his recovery process and helping him to recover without the financial burden that comes with being injured on this scale.

*A minor update regarding the GoFundMe side of things for this campaign. GFM have emailed me asking for clarity on the funds to help people understand where the funds being donated are going. I have listed Chris' partner as the beneficiary due to Chris not having the capacity to navigate the logistics of things at the moment. Jay is Chris' partner and the money will be going to his recovery as stated above.*
