I've never done anything like this before but I've come to the point where I have no choice but to humble myself and ask for it.
I Just recently I found out that I will be having back surgery because I have 2 ruptured discs and 1 slipped disc and I will be out of work from 6 to 8 weeks as I heal. Because I'm working two part-time jobs I have no means of getting benefits that will cover my time off… So that means I am going to be without a way to pay my bills and rent for eight weeks.
I know you're supposed to be positive and focus on the healing process while going through surgery but I can't help but be overwhelmed and stressed. To think that I could lose my home of 17 years because I can't afford the mortgage during this time that I will be out of work is beyond anything I'd want to consider .
Because of the constant pain I've had this year I've been limited working as much as I usually do. This past month alone the doctor has limited me to working 12 hours per week which is not doing anything for me but making me behind on everything that I owe . The positive to this whole situation is the surgery . Even though it will put me out for eight weeks , it will truly help me feel so much better and I will be able to work more and get back on track in life.
My friends advised me to total up exactly what I needed to stay afloat for those eight weeks
(my portion each month is $980.00)that's a lot of money to fall behind on for two months .
People have told me that positive things come from this go fund me site. I have no expectations, only hope that help can find its way to me so I cannot worry when going into the surgery. I thank you in advance if there is anything you can donate in my time of need .
