Helping Camp Thorpe Through COVID-19

Tax deductible
COVID-19 has hit Camp Thorpe hard.  Because we are unable to hold camp this summer, we will experience a great loss of revenue.  We know that we are not alone; summer camps rely heavily on camper tuition in order to operate.  We feel it was the right move to cancel camp for the safety of our campers and staff.

We love what we do and need to build a bridge to 2021.  Every penny counts.  Will you donate a few dollars to camp?  We will stretch those dollars far to provide our usual joyful summer experience.

We serve individuals who have intellectual disabilities.  Our camp has wide ranging activities like fishing, the arts, swimming, that many of our campers look forward to beginning the day that they leave their summer session.  We are heartbroken to have cancelled this season.

We project a loss of roughly $60,000, but are working hard to find creative ways to make up the difference.

Camp Thorpe is known for its wild thunderstorms and stunning rainbows.  Will you be part of our COVID-19 rainbow?
