Helping Brandon Fight Cancer

As some of you may know, my stepbrother Brandon has recently been diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma, a rare and aggressive type of bone cancer that like a lot of people we had never even heard of before, with just 150 cases in the U.K. a year. What started with increasing back pain, which was put down to a possible gym injury, escalated to pins and needles in Brandon's legs, shooting pains and finally losing all sensation from the waist down. An MRI scan showed a tumour wrapped around his spine and was finally diagnosed as Ewings a few weeks ago. He has now started his chemotherapy and together we will beat this awful disease that no one should ever have to fight. 

 

We are hoping to raise money to help support Brandon. We are hoping to raise money for any adaptations that may be needed at home to help with his recovery. We want him to be able to have happy days out and experiences when is he better, along with being able to provide him with things to make his every day home life a little easier in his wheelchair. Hopefully we can pay for some private physio or some treatment to repair any nerve damage with any funds raised. It will also go towards travel costs for the family to visit in Birmingham.

 

Any money left over will be donated to the Bone Cancer Research Trust, who last year alone, were able to commit a huge £807,824 to life-saving research.
