<div>As many of you know, <strong>Brad was born with a congenital heart condition called L-TGA</strong>. He is scheduled to undergo open-heart surgery on January 12 to replace his tricuspid valve. While a valve replacement is usually routine, the anatomy of his heart makes it a little more complicated. The surgery will be about 7 hours, and from there he will be in the ICU for a few days and the hospital for another 7-10 days. We are incredibly grateful for the care he'll be receiving and are focused on his recovery and healing.

<div>Unfortunately, this surgery will require him to be out of work for approximately six to eight weeks. With the start of the new year, their insurance deductible has also reset, meaning medical bills and everyday expenses will add up quickly — especially so soon after the holidays.

<div>Brad and Hailey aren't the type to ask for help, but several loved ones are encouraging them to allow support during this time. <strong>Any contribution, message, or share means more than we can put into words.</strong> Because it's cold and flu season, they will not be doing a meal train in order to limit the number of people he's exposed to during recovery. This will help tremendously in covering meal costs as well. Thank you for your kindness, prayers, and support as we navigate the weeks ahead.
