Helping Betty with Treatment

Donation protected
Betty has had a severe eating disorder most of her life and needs life saving treatment. She is medically unstable and her heart is compromised which puts her a high risk of a heart attack. She is a mother of two wonderful children and has a loving husband. Without treatment to a facility that specializes in eating disorders she will die. Eating Disorder have the highest mortality rate of any other psychiatric illness and we don’t want Betty to fall into that category. She is currently experiencing numerous medical complications such as being weak, dizzy, lethargic, unable to do daily task, her cognitive thinking is impaired which is due to malnutrition, and sets her up for a high risk for re-feeding syndrome, and other complications that can become fatal. The death rate that is associated with Eating Disorders kill more than 12 times as many woman ages 12-24. This includes unintentional accidents (motor vehicles crashes, fires) and other health diseases. This fatal illness takes lives and turns families upside down and a family broken into many pieces without a mother and wife. Eating Disorder Awareness Week is February 26-March 4 Please consider donating and saving her life. She needs your help in order to live a life without an eating disorder. She is very motivated and wants to get better. Please share this page on as many social media platforms as you can...Betty deserves recovery and deserves to get better.
