Helping Becky Proto Recover from Brain Aneurysm

Hi, our name is Catherine and Jenny and this fund is for our Mom, Becky Protopapadakis. Our Mom is a complete miracle, an answer to huge amounts of prayers from all over the world. A true testament of God’s intervention and power. Absolutely the strongest person we know.

On December 11th, little did we know our world, our lives was going to come to a grinding halt. A brain aneurysm. We had no idea we were about to endure a 65 day journey in the hospital (4 weeks in the Neuro ICU) with every kind of procedure done imaginable to save her life. Many moments of uncertainty definitely testing our faith with lots of trials and tribulations at its finest.

8 angiograms, several angioplastys, 2 EVD drains, 1 lumbar drain, 20+ct scans, shunt procedure, plus a few other procedures, and weeks of intensive inpatient rehabilitation. Our Mom is a champion. Jenny and I have not left her side for one second.

Our mom is improving and doing well. We are so excited to say on Valentine’s Day, she has been released from the hospital. We truly believe the power of prayer and God is why she is still here. ✝️

Our journey is to be continued with 24/7 watch/care and outpatient therapy for the next 3 to 6 months. Nervous, excited, and scared, but God’s love and strength is carrying us through.
