Helping BAME families in young child bereavement

Greetings, I am Aisha Peters CEO and Director for DAMALI-BEAUTIFULVISIONCIC.

Our Community Interest Company is a platform for families; Fathers, Mothers, Siblings and Extended families going through their bereavement process in the sudden loss of a young child within the family.

I am a parent who knows this experience too well when Damali Peters, my daughter, transitioned suddenly thirteen years ago. My bereavement process was/is a long road to navigate. And now DAMALI-BEAUTIFULVISIONCIC is here to support BAME/Black and Brown families who have and or who are going through their bereavement process.

DAMALI-BEAUTIFULVISIONCIC shall provide some FREE and or discounted Counselling sessions and a variety of workshops to support families through their healing for their general wellbeing. This cause is important to us because so many families go through this experience with sometimes little or next to no support at all, especially from a cultural perspective. At this time we ask for donations to support us in being able to supply workshops, to pay our facilitators, to supply counselling sessions and to have donations to help us hire spaces to host sessions/workshops.
