Helping April of Whipping Stripes

Hello, my name is Mistress Mia Darque of House Darque, OK and I am coming to you today asking for help for a dear friend of all of O/ours April, owner and founder of Whipping Stripes.

Over the DomCon NOLA event weekend (10/26/21) after vending and leaving out Monday evening her daughter attempted to commit suicide. Within 24 hours she has been listed with no brain activity of the frontal cortex which is basically leaving her in a vegetative state. After a long duration of conversation with her family and other children they have decided to take away the option of life support which means that she will lose her daughter in the next 1-72 hours and will be in need of serious funding to lay her child to rest properly. She did not have insurance on her daughter and nor did her daughter have insurance on herself.

What we are asking today is for the same community that April has helped to make a safe space for everyone and has diligently given her time and effort, patience and far more than her fair share of ears to hear out those who felt that no one was listening and shoulders to cry on, to help her in this great time of need. I personally understand that everyone is not made out of money and that even at our best we do not always have the funds to help those in need even when we love them the most. So if you cannot donate please simply share this URL/link with others through your various social media platforms so that we can help our sister in a very bad situation so that it doesn't have to be a worse one.
