Helping Amanda Davis Battle Cancer
Donation protected

In the last couple of months, Amanda has had four different surgeries to remove cancer found on one of her ovaries, lining of her abdomen, bladder, and removing Endometriosis. Amanda is currently in remission for stage-3 ovarian cancer after her final surgery. She will need at least a year of maintenance chemotherapy.
The bad news is that they’ve found the cancer had metastasized to her lymph nodes. They already removed two of those in surgery, but she has borderline stage-3/4 cancer in her bloodstream.
The bad news doesn’t stop there.
Her doctors have also found that cancer has attached itself to six spots on her liver. So, now she is fighting a third type of cancer in a year. She continued to do her best to continue to work during all of this, but she has had to take time off for the surgeries and recovery times after the surgeries. With all of the chemo and radiation treatments, sometimes her body just doesn’t have the strength to allow her to go to work even though she wants to and needs to.
After three weeks of it, she has stopped all of her radiation treatments and will instead just do a chemotherapy treatment plan from here on out.
The doctors have given her six months to a year to live. If she manages to fight back and reaches that one-year time table, she will be given another year.
Her husband, John, who has been by her side every step of the way, had a stress-induced heart attack a few months ago and so these funds will go to helping them pay her medical bills along with everyday bills. Amanda is trying to do what she can to reduce the stress on her husband John to keep him healthy and going. So even in her sickest of times, she is still looking out for others.
