I am reaching out because I need your help. During good times, living on Sint Maarten is paradise. Now, things are very different on the Island.
Sadly, category 5 hurricane Irma destroyed Sint Maarten. Experiencing this was very traumatic and scary. Over 90% of buildings are damaged or were robbed/looted including some of my property. Because of the devastation my financial means are depleting. For weeks there has been no work, water or light and I have been spending on survival items such as canned food, water, candles, flashlights, gas etc.
In the wake of all of this,it will be hard for me to pay for necessary bills and to provide and pay for my daughter's college tuition until I get back on my feet.
With your help, a little ray of light can help me during these difficult times. I ask of you to please donate whatever you can, for me to start over as best as I can. Funds will be used for rent,food,my daughter's college tuition and restoring everything that has been damaged during the storm.Any excess funds will be used to help people who are also in need on the island.
