Helping a Local Ice Cream Man

My dad has been the local Ice Cream Man in the southern Ohio area since 1997. He used to have a small fleet of polka dotted ice cream trucks that serviced the southern Ohio and northern Kentucky area. He suffered a heart attack several years ago that led to a quadruple bypass, which ultimately lead to depression. As a result, my dad sold off his business and was working a regular job delivering packages until the pandemic hit and unfortunately was let go.

My dad, with everything happening in the world, decided we could all use some smiling faces and togetherness, with our friendly neighborhood ice cream man rolling through the neighborhoods. He scraped together what savings he had and built a new truck. After completing the work and creating again a truck we’ve all come to know and love, someone has stole the ice cream truck. His ice cream truck. YOUR ice cream truck. It is currently still missing. We are hopeful it will be found. Whoever stole this ice cream truck didn’t just steal from our family - they stole from the community he serves. They stole from you. After attempting to call to the community to search, and our local police department, little to nothing has come to light of its whereabouts. The likelihood is that the will never be found. But my Dad is still on a mission & he’s currently trying to build a new truck. We still have a mission to make our communities smile again. So I’m starting this Go Fund Me to help raise funds for my dad to be able to build a new truck and get back on the road.

The world is in chaos right now. If we could please help get him back on the road, and back to bringing joy to everyone serves in our communities during this pandemic.....the summer might be a bit brighter and a little cooler.
