Helping a Kid with Cancer

Dearest family and friends,
I am writing on behalf of my good friend, who lives in Vietnam, to raise money for her son’s medical treatment. Her son, only 15-months-old, was recently diagnosed with blood cancer. (Per my friend’s request, I will keep her and her child’s name confidential). Since Vietnam has a poor reputation of providing quality medical services and, often fails to provide proper treatment to patient(s), my friend and her husband decided to take their son to Singapore and receive better treatment there instead; however, the treatment is very costly— approximately 120,000.00 USD. To help cover the majority of the cost, my friend and her husband recently took a loan with their house title. Their close family and friends have been providing some financial assistance as well and, together, they were able to cover 2/3 of the required fees as of late. As for the remaining amount, I would like to ask for your assistance to help cover some of the remaining cost. No matter how small it may be, it will be greatly appreciated.
A child’s life is at stake, but there is still hope to save this boy’s life from this curable illness. I would be grateful for any amount that is donated to help save my friend’s son because EVERY DOLLAR COUNTS. I am hoping to raise $2,000 at the very minimum but, again, any amount will help.
