Helping a fellow St Gabriel family

This fundraiser is to benefit a St Gabriel/Mercy family many of us know and love. They are very active in the parish and have two daughters, one of whom is one of Jordan's best friends.
The mother and older daughter have long-term medical issues, and unfortunately mom has been unable to work for the past year and a half and was denied disability. It's very hard for them to make ends meet on one income, despite all their efforts. Mom is facing another unexpected surgery tomorrow.
Within the past year, they have downsided from a house to an apartment to save costs, and are now facing probable eviction before Christmas (they need $1,100 by Dec 11th). Clearly, there will be no "holiday" for the girls this year. Both may need to switch to public schools in January because they cannot pay the tuition that's due (yes, I plan to discuss separately with the school, so they understand the full circumstances), which is devastating them all.  Imagine the level of stress and sadness they are living with during what is supposed to be a happy and festive time of year! 
Please, find it in your hearts to contribute $5 or $10 to this family in need. Alone we are a drop, but together we are an ocean! This holiday season, let's put a smile back in their shattered hearts....
