Phyllis Aycock

Phyllis has stage 2 breast cancer, discovered just as school started this fall. She is the secondary English teacher at American Heritage Charter School. Within just a couple of weeks she had a double mastectomy and is now in chemotherapy treatments for several months. This has put a strain financially on the family. She has used all her sick leave at school as she has had poor blood tests that haven't allowed her to return to the classroom. The treatments have left her ill for several days. 

Any funds raised will be used to help with medical bills and help with the loss of income. 

Adversity isn't new to Phyllis and her family. They lost a daughter 8 years ago in a vehicle accident. She and her husband have two other children. Phyllis is a native Jamaican who is an American citizen. She could really use all the help we can give her.
