Help Hospice Hearts

Hospice Hearts is a 501(c)3 all-volunteer, foster-based rescue serving senior cats and dogs whose owners have entered nursing homes, fallen seriously ill, or passed away. Established as an independent organization in the fall of 2015, Hospice Hearts has served over 150 pets, most of whom would be euthanized in a traditional shelter environment.

Hospice Hearts serves the oldest and sickest animals, many of whom need extensive veterinary care. As such, Hospice Hearts is currently crisis where our veterinary bills exceed our current financial capabilities. With thirty-seven cats and dogs currently under our purview, we remain committed to providing them with the highest quality of care.

However, we are faced with the grim reality that our model of operation may be unsustainable without the extensive support of our community. We are brokenhearted for the many cats and dogs as well as their desperate owners we will be unable to help if our financial situation does not improve.

Our board of directors is currently assessing the operations of our organization to ensure our financial stability for the future. In the interim, we need to immediately raise funds to support our current orphans under our care. Financial assistance in any form is desperately needed at this time.
