Once again gofundme has frozen my account. Why they do this, I don't know. I have jumped through more hoops than a circus dog. So, to appease the gofundme gods, I will input the SAME INFORMATION I HAVE PROVIDED A HALF DOZEN TIMES ALREADY...
From gofunde... After reviewing your campaign, we’d like to ask that you add some additional information to your campaign description. We want to make sure people aren't taking advantage of donors’ generosity.
When it comes to very public campaigns, our main goals are to protect donors from fraud as best we can and help make campaigns as successful as possible.
Transparency is always the best policy and we ask that you include the following information in your campaign description:
1. Who you are - Annalisa "Ivy" Antonowitsch, Hank's longtime girlfriend, partner, live in companion, love of each other's lives.
2. Where you're from - Reno, NV
3. Your relationship to the parties you're raising funds for - Hank's longtime girlfriend, partner, live in companion, love of each other's lives.
4. How the funds will be spent (be specific as possible) - Although stated below I will once again be as specific as possible... the money is intended for a number of uses that will arrise during Hank's recover, such as medical bills, medical equipment he may need, it may happen that we will have to spend som on living expenses since Hank was the sole provider in our home and any other expense that arrises due to Hank's condition and/or recovery
5. How you intend to get the funds to those in need. The funds will be kept in a zero interest account to avoid having to pay taxes and will be withdrawn as needed for the continued care of Hank.
I REALLY hope this fulfills gofundme's need to interrupt the ability to donate to or account. I apologize for anyone who has been inconvenience by this interruption. And now, Hank's story...
On September 1, 2016, Henry "Hank" Sosnowski was assaulted buy a local Reno thug because he tried to stop him from tagging the Nevada State Historical Marker, set in front of the Washoe County Courthouse. The 25 year old thug assaulted Hank and put him in the hospital with massive brain trauma and bleeding. He is currently in a coma and is in critical condition.
Born in South Chicago, Hank IS the Jack of all trades. He started working in the steel mills and railroads in his hometown, then moved to Alaska to begin his career in radio, which ultimately brought him here to Reno. Hank he was the morning drive dj for Cool Gold, a local oldies radio station, leading him to an opportunity to become the Executive Director for Hot August Nights.
After Hank's departure from HAN, he re-invented himself again and at the age of 47 Hank started college. After graduation he took a position teaching English and poetry at Truckee Meadows Community College. Hank is a man of many interests, he is passionate about poetry, the arts and music. He has published several books on poetry and his books have been carried at Barnes and Nobel, Sundance Book Store, as well as City Lights in San Francisco.
Hank was voted as Reno's best poet in the Reno News and Review's annual "Best of Reno" edition, twice. Hank's poetry has been published in national and international publications.
Those who are local may remember Hank participating in a week long live performance piece during Artown called, Write Before Your Eyes. As a drummer for most of his life, Hank also has a deep love for playing music just as much as seeing other musicians perform.
Most importantly Hank is an amazing man, great father and beautiful friend. Due to this senseless act of violence, Hank's life has been changed forever. He will likely be faced with millions of dollars in medical debt alone.
Hank would be the first one to reach out and help anyone in any situation. We appreciate all of your thoughts and prayers and well-wishes. Please continue to pull for him and donate to his go fund me account.

And now... fullfilling gofundme's requirement to collect...
1. Who you are: My name is Ivy Antonowitsch and I am a part time freelance graphic artist living in Reno, NV
2. Where you're from: I am originally from So Cal but have lived all over the western United States.
3. Your relationship to the parties you're raising funds for: I am raising funds for Henry Sosnowski and myself. Henry is my live-in boyfriend. We were first on-line friends and HUGE fans of Tom Waits 19 years ago and ten years later I moved to Reno and soon after became his girlfriend and then live-in girlfriend.
4. How the funds will be spent (be specific as possible): Hank lies in a coma while medical AND home bills pile up. The funds will be spent on medical expenses, as well as alternative therapies that are not covered by insurance. The funds will also go toward providing family members counciling. Hank was the sole provider in the household, and through no fault of her own, Ivy is facing eviction, electricity turned off, phones, cable and internet turned off. Ivy is disabled and unable to work. She has filed for disability but it is a lengthy approval process. Funds will go toward maintaining the household until Ivy has been approved for disability. Funds will also go toward burial costs should Hank pass on. There are so many expenses that have risen as a result of the thug sending Henry into a coma, without an income Ivy has no way to retain her home and will become homeless. Ivy has been in her home for 8 years and does not want to leave the home she built with Henry, while at the same time, honor payment of mounting medical bills.
5. How you intend to get the funds to those in need: By depositing money into a bank account and writing checks against the balance.
