On Saturday the 28th of May 2016 Pete Grupe had a welding accident at home where he sustained major head injuries.
Pete has been a member of the Bribie Island community all his life. He is a keen diver and has a strong love for the ocean. Pete is a husband and a father of 2 young boys, Rocky and Carson. Pete had recently became the main income provider for the household as Carissa, his wife, also suffers from her own health issues.
Pete has already had several surgeries and has more surgeries in the future. He is still in hospital and expected to remain in hospital for some time still.
While Pete and his family are on the journey of recovery, we are asking you as a member of the supportive community that Bribie Island and surrounding areas is, that friends and family donate any amount they can, to help the family with medical expenses and help with family expenses.
We appreciate any amount you can donate!
