Help Make JJ\'s Wish Come True!

Donation protected

Almost a year ago exactly,
just a couple of months after his 2nd birthday,
my precious nephew JJ Moisa was diagnosed as having an
Atypical teratoid rhabdoid  tumor(ATRT) in his brain.
The cancerous tumor was the size of a grapefruit.

After going through 2 major brain surgeries to remove the deadly tumor (kids JJ\'s age have as low as a 10% survival rate, according to research my sister has done), he also went through a super intense and condensed form of chemotherapy called Head Start, as well as a bone marrow transplant and an additional round of oral chemo, all before most toddlers are potty trained. JJ\'s ABC\'s were Atypical Brain Cancer.

The \"Make A Wish Foundation\" has generously offered to grant JJ\'s wish of putting a playground in the backyard, since his immune system prevents him from going to the public park as often as a 3 year old would like. However, the MAWF is not able to put down the safety rubber mulch that JJ would need because it goes against policy (they do not do landscaping projects, which is understandable I guess). The downside is that without the safety mulch, the playground cannot be put up and it is going to cost $2,000 for all the work involved to be done (you\'d be surprised). So now JJ\'s wish is on hold for a minute. But it doesn\'t have to be if you can just throw a few bucks JJ\'s way so he can have his wish granted! Any little bit helps, and it really would. Thank you.
He did it all with a smile on his face too (except he did hate nurses).

UPDATE: First off, my sister and brother in-law just wanted to thank everyone, as did I, ya\'ll are really making a difference, and we appreciate it so much, JJ is such a lucky little guy. Secondly, the estimated cost of $2,000 was just that, an estimate.  Turns out it was off, so here is the itemized amounts (just so ya\'ll know), of what money is going where, and how much everything is costing. Thanks again-
Safety rubber mulch: $2,500
Safety guard curbs for playground: $350
Plastic weed-guard sheets to go under the mulch: $150
Labor (including removing the sod, rerouting the sprinkler system, flattening the dirt, transporting and laying 7,000 lbs of mulch, inserting the curbs): $900
