Those of you who know me personally know the whole story...those of you who dont, please ask and I will share. I am finally free of a 10 plus year abusive marriage (thank you God!!) I am fighting for full custody of my son. My ex husband is fighting to keep him in his "home state" of NC....I will do anything to bring my son home to FL with me where he belongs.
I was turned away when I sought help through Legal Aid. For over 10 years I have been the sole financial support in the household, and I continue to be forced to support my ex husband even after our separation.
This case has been going on for over a year, and I need to now pay my attorney an additional $5000 to continue representation.
I am not normally one to ask for help, but when it comes to my child and his well being, I will do anything that I have to do. Attorneys are expensive and this battle is long. Any help is greatly appreciated.
