Help Us Start Over

Our apartments, The Point at Cypress Woods on Grant & Lakewood Forest was hit by the rains of Hurricane Harvey. Cypress Creek overflowed and drowned the apartments. We were forced to leave after 3-4 feet of water got into our apartment. We have lost all of our furniture. We have lost many possessions. We were only able to carry one backpack each after being rescued. We have lost the majority of our clothes, my daughter has lost all of her toys besides 2 dolls that I was able to save from the water. With all that being said, I was reluctant to make this post because I know so many others have lost just as much as us and in some cases even more than us. However when you have children, you swallow your pride and ask for help. Any and all donations will be used for clothing for us and my daughter, and toys for my daughter. My wife cannot work because we have lost our car. I cannot work because we had to evacuate to my parents house in Seabrook and my child care job was in Cypress. If you cannot help, I understand but I will appreciate any help that I can get. God Bless.
