Originally from El Salvador, Josue endured a difficult childhood, facing rejection from his father due to the color of his skin and the trauma of war during his adolescence. Despite these hardships, he has remained a caring and joyful person, bringing light to everyone around him. He loves sweets, fruits, and spending time with his grandchildren, who adore him. Even his dog and the neighborhood children are drawn to his warmth and playful spirit.

He treated everyone with compassion, often singing to seniors and making them feel loved. <div><strong>Josue has a serious heart condition and is currently not receiving the medical care or treatment he needs while being held at the Adelanto Detention Center. This lack of medical attention places his health and life at serious risk.</strong>

<div>On December 20, Josue was racially profiled, ambushed, and kidnapped by ICE at a Home Depot in Signal Hill, California, and is now being detained at Adelanto. His first hearing is scheduled for December 31, 2025.

Due to the holidays and the urgency of his case, we have less than 24 hours to raise the first $6,000 in order to secure his attorney before his first hearing on 12/31/2025.
