Help for the Gordon Family

Over the last year, our family has had our fair share of struggles. As many people know, last March, my husband Mickey was diagnosed with brain cancer. Surgery revealed a Medullablastoma, which is a cancerous tumor. After surgery, he began radiation and additional therapies to begin his journey to get better. Needless to say, it has been an extremely rough year with many uphill battles.

Thank goodness we found an amazing acupuncturist who Mickey has been seeing every week since October. She has helped him with food, nauseousness, and even being able to brush his teeth. He still has his good and bad days, as he baby steps along his journey to get himself back to "normal."

Since Mickey is not quite ready to get back to a normal work routine, we are asking for your help. Mickey used to watch our twins every day, but since September, we have had to pay for full time schooling for them this year and will need to pay for one more year until they get to kindergarten. I continue to do whatever I can do bring in extra money, but without a second income right now, it is extremely difficult to make ends meet. In addition, we had some huge financial setbacks this month, including unexpected car repairs and a sewer backup.
