hurricane harvey victim help needed

I know with the thousands of people affected by Hurricane Harvey, people are looking for a way to help out and a charity to donate to.  Here is something you can do if you want your help to be more personal.  Any of you that know my dad know that he is extremely hard working and generous but does not have a lot to show for it.  As with many people in the Houston area right now, he has lost what little he does have to flooding due to the hurricane.  Besides all the things in his apartment, which are completely secondary, he has lost everything he needs to work. He is a contractor that relies on his tools and transportation to be able to do his job.  That is all gone now.   His work van and all of his tools as well as a storage unit where he keeps work tools and supplies have been swallowed up by the rivers and lakes.  Unfortunately, he only has liability insurance for his van and does not have the tools insured at all. He will need a good amount of money to be able to continue working after this and I'm hoping between friends and family that we can get him there.  Any amount would help! Thanks, and I love you all.
