HELP FIND LEA PORTER

Donation protected
We are the family of Lea Porter who was murdered in Colorado on June 3, 2014, by a man named Christopher Waide.

Last Friday, November 6th, Christopher Waide was sentenced (by a Plea deal) to 48 years in Prison.  In addition, he was convicted of sexual child endangerment and for possessing more than 22,000 photos and videos of child pornography.

This "find" was a result from searching Waide's apartment for evidence in Lea's murder.  Because of Lea, another child sexual predator is off the streets and your children are safe now from this man.

Lea's petite, 19 year old body has never been recovered.
The now convicted murderer has kept her whereabouts hidden from us, which has left us searching for Lea for nearly a year and a half... but we're not finished searching.

As more details come to us now that the case is closed and Christopher Waide was  convicted of Lea's murder,
we intend to knock out every possible location.

Large scale search parties are being put together; some can be implemented now, some after our upcoming Colorado Winter.  This will hopefully give us time to raise money for the search.

No one charges us for their services and everyone volunteers their time, but we do have to pay expenses.  This can get costly when we're talking about "large scale" searches.

We have many locals volunteering that we'll have to feed and possibly lodge.  Our needs will also include any necessary equipment rentals, etc...

And as I get requests for more details regarding the search for Lea,  we have to use caution as to not  say the wrong thing to the wrong person. What if somebody  knows where Lea is, and what if they see where we are searching...  we have to protect the integrity of the case,  including the identity or identities of people who are helping us.

To the people who doubt or think that we should not look for Lea anymore, I will remind you of this:

At the sentencing hearing on November 6, 2014, the judge told Christopher Waide that he did not believe one word of his accounts of what happened the night he murdered Lea.

And we have learned by one of Christopher Waide's professors at the criminal justice school  he was attending at the time of the murder,  Christopher Waide attended courses  that taught him about making false statements, cleaning up a crime scene, and how to avoid blood transfer.

In addition, after a 40+ day search at the commerce city landfill outside of Denver, among other things, the smallest item found was Lea's small gold ring  that I had given her as a  Christmas gift on her last Christmas of 2013.

The inventory list of what law enforcement found at the landfill is a testimony to what they did not find, and that is our sweet Lea.
