On Saturday 16th September, 2017 our dear friend Tim Osborne tragically passed away. Not only did this world lose the most fun-loving and all round top bloke, but he has also left behind a heartbroken wife and 2 young children.
Tim and Fi travelled the world. You might say they were citizens of the world. When they started a family, how humbling that they chose Sydney to be the place to bring up their 2 beautiful children Evie and George. They had spent the majority of a decade here in Sydney before Singapore came calling for Tim. True to their citizenship status of the world, they moved to Singapore for Tim’s work and to give Evie and George a chance to explore and embrace the world beyond.
Tragically, Tim suffered a fatal accident and passed away during a business trip to New York and the family is now without a loving husband and father. Fi and the children are currently in Singapore and have plans to move back to Sydney in the near future.
We are setting up this fund to help them re-establish themselves in Sydney. Our aim is to help reduce the financial burden of a relocation back to Sydney and to make the transition as smooth as possible under such enormous sadness and grief they must be feeling. Your donation will be used to help Fi, Evie and George to find a place to live, perhaps covering the rental bond and rental expenses for the first few weeks. There is also the added expense of bringing home their 2 beautiful pooches, Roxy and Piper, including costs for vaccinations, quarantine and travel fees.
We acknowledge there is another fundraising page based in New Zealand - https://givealittle.co.nz/cause/fionaeviegeorge . We have spoken to Fi and with her permission, we are starting an Australian based one to ensure we have the funds ready for her here without losing anything by transferring currencies. Please do not feel you need to contribute to both.
