This fundraiser is being organized to help a Black, Trans community member with upfront costs for an upcoming top surgery. Ernae (He/Him) will be undergoing top surgery on November 26th with out of pocket costs expected immediately by his insurance company. Afterwards, recovery will be about a month long, in which case other forms of community care is graciously appreciated. He has access to PTO with his company for the recovery period so this fundraiser is just to cover costs outside of his network due on the day of surgery.  Other ways to support! We recognize that Queer and Trans Black community members are often our most avid donors regardless of their own financial and survival situations.
