Help Emanii shake cancer for good!

Well, we all know Emanii’s got diagnosed with leukemia last July and has been living in and out of the hospital for the last year. Twice she was scheduled to have bone marrow transplants and each time the plan had to be scraped at the last minute because the cancer was too aggressive and her leukemia numbers couldn’t be brought under control. We are at the point where the only course of action to save her life is to try CAR-T cell therapy which thankfully after months of getting worse she has been accepted to go have. This is our best hope to get her back to a healthy girl with her whole life still in front of her, we need this opportunity! There are however still a lot of hurdles to get past, namely the logistics of making it work. The closest hospital who can treat her is in Dallas- not commutable from her home in San Antonio. That means at LEAST five weeks Krystal will have to take leave from work. After dealing with cancer for the past year she has no more vacation time to use and this will be completely UNPAID. If there are no complications in the typical 5 week treatment cycle, fortunately the treatment is mostly outpatient... but that means they have to cover their own transportation expenses from the Ronald McDonald House, their own meals, snacks and ancillary expenses as well as keeping up with bills from home they can’t pause such as rent and phones, etc.
Emanii is so sick, and her leukemia numbers so high the Dallas hospital has just moved her admittance up to THIS WEEK! Please, anything you can give really makes all the difference. And if you’re not able to help monetarily, don’t underestimate how nice it will be for them just to get a friendly message from you- 5 weeks in an unknown city can certainly get lonely.
