Hello dear friends, family, and others. This page was created to help Debora Cordeiro, our beautiful friend, sister, daughter, girlfriend, UCF professor, and mentor cover her current/future medical bills and postoperative expenses during the most difficult time in her life.

At the beginning of this year, she found out that she had a brain tumor. She began her recovery after a surgery in April, and was living on her own for a while. However, the tumor has returned and she just went through fifteen hours of brain surgery yesterday (9/5/2012). The pathology of this tumor is still unknown to the surgeons and doctors, so the length of her hospital stay at this time is indefinite.
I know she truly appreciates all of your prayers and positive thoughts, but as you may know insurance only covers so much of the costs, and several weeks (and counting) in the ICU is no small cost to bear. We are asking anyone with the means to please donate whatever you can to help Debora cover her current/future medical expenses, as well as her living expenses once she is in recovery.
