Summer Mission Trip to Honduras

Donation protected
Dear Friends and Family,

I have been given an amazing opportunity to participate in a Medical Mission Trip to the Honduras this Summer. Our team of students and doctors will depart on July 14th and return on July 21st. We will be working with the clinic patients and traveling to remote villages to provide health care. Many of those we see are uninsured and are without ready access to health care.
Often, people living in these communities have to walk for several kilometers to catch a bus to the capital for basic care. Most homes consist of 1 to 2 rooms, with an average of 6 people, and lack water and sanitation services. It is our goal on this trip to provide medical care free of charge to those in need. We will be focusing on Primary Care & Pediatrics during this trip.
This will be an excellent learning opportunity for me and the other student doctors. I'm excited about the opportunity and experience that lie ahead. I hope you see the value in what we will accomplish. As you can imagine, a trip like this requires financial support from a number of people.
If you would like to donate, the money donated will go towards airfare, lodging, food, and supplies. I would greatly appreciate any support you could give me. Every little bit counts! Your donation will help make a difference in the lives of those we serve in the Honduras and will provide a life changing experience for me as medical student.

Thank you so very much and I am excited about this opportunity!
