Chris' Post-Stroke Recovery Fund

Alright guys,
Our Chris Vasquez (Sweet Chris, Chris Angel, Cutie Pie Chris, The Quiet One with the Gray Beanie) recently got in a bike accident which later caused him to have a major stroke.
He spent a week recovering most of his vital functions at Emanuel Hospital, and is now doing intensive physical therapy at the Rehab Institute of Oregon. The stroke mainly resulted in a loss of balance, coordination, and depth perception, which has severly affected his vision and ability to walk.
Chris will be discharged October 10th, but will have to continue physical therapy for about a year. Once home, he will need 24 hour care until a doctor clears him to safely be on his own.
Due to all of these circumstances, Chris probably won't be able to work for quite a while, so we are looking to help take some of the financial burden off him during his recovery. His medical expenses, at the moment, are being covered by OHP, but he still needs to make rent and bills, and once he is out of RIO, he will need money for food/transport/medications/general living expenses.
Chris has managed to maintain an unbelieveably positive attitude throughout this ordeal, which has massively helped his progress. The rest of his recovery will likely be quite difficult, both mentally and physically, so we would like to make sure he isn't drowning in financial worries during this time.
Chris has a tendency to cultivate a soft spot in the hearts of most everyone who knows him, so I imagine there are many of us out there who would like to help.
We set up a GoFundMe in the hopes that we can harness this compassion into something tangible.
