**** UPDATE****** Thanks to everyone's kind donations we have now raised enough money to buy mum the machine.
I am flying it up to her on Monday and she is so excited and so grateful to all of you for helping her get it. It is going to do wonders for her health.

As most of you know mum has been pretty sick of late with her third cancer diagnosis and being the independent, stoic and strong woman she is, she has a tendency to shy away from asking for help…which is why I thought I would step in and ask.
Mum has been doing some research and has been recommended to buy a Kangen Akaline Water Filter, which has been proven to help people suffering from cancer, going through chemo and radiotherapy and helps prevent cancer returning - along with so many other amazing health benefits.
The only problem is they can cost up to $4000-$5000 (depending on the model type) but they last up to 25 years and are a medical grade machine used in many hospitals all over Japan. With medical costs piling up rapidly, living on her own, and being unable to work since February means she is struggling to survive on only Centrelink payments, therefore she certainly can’t afford the filter, and as much as I would like to buy it for her (knowing how much she really wants it and how much she needs it) I can’t afford it on my own either.
Something I think we all admire about mum is her go-getter attitude and continuous fighting spirit, she is an absolute inspiration the way she has handled all that life has thrown at her, and hopefully together, with your kind donations we can make her fight a little easier this time.

Mum's story:
On 28th February 2017 mum was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer. This is the rarest and worst type of breast cancer with the highest incidence of reoccurrence.
After suffering from colon cancer twice already, which resulted in losing her entire colon, this diagnosis certainly came as a shock and I think it’s safe to say, mum has already been through enough!
Doctors found a 7cm tumour in her breast, which unfortunately spread to her lymph nodes meaning she had to immediately start on one of the toughest types of chemo’s (TAC), which I’m sure mum would describe has been nothing short of horrible.
So far she has already undergone 5 rounds (15 weeks) of chemo, but due to the damaging affect it was having on her heart, she is now starting a milder dose for 9 more weeks, this will be followed by surgery, and then 6 weeks of radiotherapy. Unfortunately, now she also needs to see a heart specialist to monitor her heart condition caused by the savage rounds of chemo.

How Kangen water helps with people who have cancer is that is enables the body to get on with its job of healing itself.
