Hi, my name is Bryan and I am a 34 year old male from the Berkshires of Western Massachusetts. I am a sober man in recovery who does not tolerate drugs or alcohol. I have fallen into numerous hardships in my life and I am looking to dig myself out of the hole that my past has caused. Recently I was laid off from my employer and now I am staying at the local shelter. I have lost everything because of something not of my own doing and am looking for some support from some passionate people who would like to change someone's life for the better. I've always wanted a place to call my own and a place where I can build my life. I am actively looking for a job and it is not coming too easy because of my background. I am a hardworking man who just want a fair shot at life. I do not want to be around these people at the shelter who use drugs and alcohol, it is jeopardizing my sobriety which I value more than anything. I have a fiancee that I have been with for almost two years. We talk everyday and she supports everything I do. She recommended that I use this website and try to acquire some help so this is what I am going to try to do. I am not asking for tons and tons of cash, I am just asking for something small. With the collaboration of a bunch of passionate people who are supportive of a man in recovery who wants to do the next right thing I know I will be able to obtain my goal of being able to buy an apartment to call my own.
Please I know there are people out there in recovery who want to help a young man obtain a place to live. Updates will be provided.
Please help me in this journey called life.
I also have no income or money in the bank at the moment. I acquire governmental food aid but that has run out and I will not get more until next month.
So food, shelter, and everyday expenses such as transportation are needed so I can live.
Once again thank you for your much needed support and God bless you!
