In October, Brittney tore her Achilles and underwent surgery. She was on the road to recovery—until December, when it tore again. Since then, she hasn’t been able to put any weight on her foot. After months of pain and uncertainty, she just found out that she needs another major surgery next week.

Brittney is one of the kindest, most selfless people you’ll ever meet. As a nanny, she has spent years enriching the lives of children and families, always giving her heart and soul. But this injury has completely taken away her ability to work. Through it all, she has kept a brave face, staying positive even when things have been incredibly tough.

Now, she just wants one thing: to walk again.
