The Help Brittaney Carter Fund

Tragically this past weekend, my co-worker, Brittaney Carter’s mother was killed while driving on the 55 freeway in Costa Mesa, CA. Brittaney’s 53-year mother, Cynthia, was driving home from work when she swerved to avoid a mattress lying on the freeway. In an effort to avoid hitting the mattress, Cynthia’s car then hit the center divider. The impact turned the car onto its side where it was then struck by a van driven by a drunk driver.  The force of the van then pushed Brittaney’s mother’s car back into traffic where it was then hit by two more cars.  It was the head-on impact of the third car that took her life on Saturday, February 14th, 2015.

Please join me in supporting Brittaney and her family in their time of need. I am sure that besides the funeral and other costs related to this untimely tragedy, she would appreciate anything and everything we, as her friends and co-workers can do for her.  We cannot even begin to comprehend the grief and feelings of loss she must be enduring at this time. It is my hope that all of you will give whatever you can to Brittaney in her time of need.
