Hi. My name is Sarah and I need some help. I'm usually not one to do stuff like this; ask people for money, but I don't know what else to do. If there's one thing that my mom taught me that I will never forget it is to be strong and independent. My mother raised four children on her own, with no help from my father. She put all of us through Catholic grade school and high school, except one. This is the reason I am doing this GoFundMe account. My youngest brother Brett, the one in the picture, needs this money. He "graduated" from high school on May 18, 2013. Well kind of graduated. The school allowed him to walk at graduation, however he did not recieve his diploma. Why? Because the tutition was not paid in full. A lot of people ask why we were sent to Catholic schools if it is so expensive. The easiest answer I have for them is that my mom wanted better for her kids...and the school district we currently live in is not good at all.
My mom put my two older brothers and I through high school and I witnessed the struggle she went through trying to do it. This is her youngest and I wanted to do something for her. She has sacraficed so much for us and if I can reach this goal I would be the most grateful and happiest person alive. Anything helps. As I said earlier, my mother taught me to be strong and independent. She did everything for her children and still does to this day even though were all older and don't rely on her as much as we used to.
Brett is the youngest of five children (our sister died when she was very young). He is such a brilliant kid and he has the mind set to go out and make something great of himself. He has been accepted into Saint Louis University and that is where he is determined to go. Due to the tutition not being paid, Brett can not recieve his final transcript. As a result of that, he currently can not attend SLU.
The goal I have is $10,000. That is the money my mom owes over all 4 years of Brett's high school career. I'm asking for your help in getting Brett out of this situation he is in. We, as a family, would greatly appreciate it.
