Help Us Help "Boxer"

Hi, my name is "Boxer." Yesterday my world was turned upside down. I was previously attacked by another dog, and had experienced some incredible pain in my front leg. As I was placed in the car, I thought my owner was finally going to get me medical care for my broken and infected leg but instead, to my surprise, I ended up at the shelter to be euthanized. A couple of kind-hearted humans stepped in with the help of an officer at the shelter. With this being said I am not going to be killed today! Although my owner didn't take appropriate care of me, I am still home sick :( These kind humans are working hard to help me recover; they run a non-profit spay & neuter facility, but do not have the resources for orthopedic care. I am asking YOU for help so these kind people can help me. (x-rays are needed, possible amputation, pain medication, antibiotics, etc.) Anything will help :)

~Although there are many owners that neglect and mistreat their animals, the truth is that animals are very forgiving creatures. Animals are truly loyal companions and a lot of people take them for granted. We need to understand that animals come with the same responsibility as a child. They are a part of our family, keep that in mind :)
