Help "Bob the Builder" Soule

Robert Soule has worked for us as our Chief of Maintenance at the Country Inn & Suites, Ithaca, NY for 9 and a half years.  He was part of our pre-opening crew and also works at our EconoLodge, Ithaca property assisting with Maintenance.  

 “Bob the Builder” as he is lovingly called by all staff was in a dreadful motor vehicle accident on the early evening of July 13, 2017, picking his wife up from work.  They were hit drivers side, by a truck who ran a red light in Owego, NY.  Bob took the brunt of the hit and as a result broke all ribs on the left side of his body, broke his leg and hand and fractured his hip. His diaphragm was torn and other vital organs were shifted inside his body.  He endured a 3+ hour surgery to repair internal damage and is still on a ventilator.  They have just found a brain bleed and his prognosis is unknown at this time. 

Bob lives in Brooktondale with his wife Betty who was in the vehicle with him at the time of the accident.  Betty was released after one night in the hospital with a broken hand and multiple bruises.  They are a close couple who will now have a hard time making ends meet.  Their only car is now totaled, and they have no income.  Bob is an avid hunter and jokester, who is loved by all who meet him.  We can only hope and pray that Bob brings his jolly nature back into our lives.

With numerous medical expenses, lack of vehicle and now no income from work, Bob and Betty are too proud to ask but really do need any help you can provide.
