Help Bekah become a midwife!

About six months ago I decided that I wanted to become a doula and eventually a midwife! So two months ago my boyfriend and I were contacted by a family friend who runs a women's clinic in Cebu,Philippines wanting us to come and help with a worship and prayer conference this summer and for me to learn how to be a doula.

So Carson and I decided that we were going! I was so excited that we were on our way to go after our dreams. He said we were going to raise 10,000.00 for glory reborn and for our travel costs. 

Then two weeks ago our story took a turn.. Carson and I were hit by a drunk driver going 80 mph. Carson did not make it, and for some reason I walked away with only a few scratches. 

So I was faced with some very heavy choices, what is my life going to look like, what do I do now? Where did my five year plan go? 

I'm sure if you are reading this then you have been faced with some extremely hard choices just like the ones I have begun to face.

So I decided to quit my job, and move to the Philippines to become a midwife and to serve in the clinic. I couldn't return to "normal" life. I have to move, to give, to go.

So that's my story, I need 10,000.00 to move and complete school, funny how that's exactly the amount Carson desired for us to raise!
