Hello Beloveds,
First, thank you for taking the time to read our story and helping us in any way possible. Every little bit is greatly appreciated.
During the past 2 years I have been raising my twin boys Xavier and Gabriel (currently 3 years old) mostly by myself as a single mother.
I am constantly working 6 and 7 days a week as well as raising the boys full time.
I make limited income due to having the boys in my care full time and dealing with the shortcomings of raising children, from back to back ear infections and sickness, to unemployment (due to 2 kids getting sick at once and so forth).
I have also survived and overcame being in an abusive relationship with the father of my kids and struggled to fight for child support via the courts so that I can keep a home for my children and I and so that I can fully provide for their necessities (food, clothing, pull ups, medicine and etc).
Currently the last 10 months have been especially hard due to having been cheated out of our deposit money with two sets of landlords.
One landlord lied about selling the house we were staying at , to get us to move and raise the rent, and another were slumlords that had the house we moved into falling apart with leaks, plumbing issues and no hot water for weeks at a time.
They both took $6000 worth of deposit money I cannot get back.
At the second house we were living in, someone broke into our house and stole my electronics including my laptop, my purse, cash, keys , car and car seats.
I managed to find my car (thank God and Goddess!) but it needed repairs.
as a result, we were left with no money to get into another house and had exhausted the help of non profit agencies to help us get into another rental. (They helped provide part of the deposit for the house we moved into second and later found out had all these slumlord issues).
For the past 5 months I have been living in a room with my boys, at a friend’s home that has been trying to help me get back on my feet.
Unfortunately my expenses for my car (high car insurance and car payments) have made it impossible to save up any money for any apartment I have considered trying to move into.
After hopping from one friends house to another (shelters have been full)
Last month, I ended up having two accidents in a week (two different cars hit me at different points) causing me to have to get therapy for the pain caused by the last accident and therefore I’ve been struggling to keep working normal capacity.
I have decided to move from Pennsylvania back to Fairfield, IA (my college town of Maharishi university of management; MUM for short)
to :
1. Gain stability by having a home I can afford with enough space for the boys and I.
(we already found a 2 bedroom house with half the rent we would need to stay in pa (without a need to provide 3x the rent amount as income)
2. I am enrolling in a masters program part time (at M.U.M )to further my career options and gain financial stability.
3. I have a support system already in FF (Fairfield) for the boys and I.
4. I will be able both work and go to school part time and have enough time to dedicate to raising my boys in a conscious way that will provide them with a great learning environment and a great foundation for their future.
I have created this gofundme to help us with travel expenses of relocating so far from the place we are now, and to cover expenses we will need to get ourselves set up in Fairfield (food, clothing, and other necessitie,) especially with the repercussions of the this accident.
My friends have helped financially as much as they can with providing us with either low rent or shelter for free and while I am still working as much as I can, I’m still unable to have the money for the travel expenses and the money to have us set up in Fairfield.
It takes a village to raise one child, and I’ve been trying my best to raise two at once.
I will continue to work as much as I can, and I am realizing this is a time I cannot do this all by myself.
Anything given will help the boys and I survive this transition for a better future and a home of our own again. This can only happen with help.
Our travel date is April 20th, 2019.

Durante los últimos 2 años he estado criando a mis hijos gemelos Xavier y Gabriel (tienen 3 años de edad), como madre soltera.
Estoy trabajando constantemente 6 y 7 días a la semana, y también criando a los niños al mismo tiempo.
Tengo ingresos limitados debido a que tengo a los niños 5 días de la semana y me afecta mi abilidad de trabajar cuando los niños se me enferman, (especialmente con infecciones de oído, y etc que hasta eh perdido trabajo en el pasado basado a cojiendo tanto tiempo cuidando los dos niños enfermo a la misma vez)
Eh sobrevivido y eh superado una relación abusiva con el papa de mis hijos y eh tenido que luchar con las cortes para recibir dinero de child support para poder mantener un hogar para mis hijos y para que pueda satisfacer sus necesidades ( alimentos, ropa, pull ups, medicinas y etc).
los últimos 10 meses han sido especialmente difíciles debido a que han sido engañados de nuestro depósito con dos grupos de landlords.
Un propietario(landlord) mintió sobre la venta de la casa en la que nos vivíamos, para que nos mudáramos y aumentáramos el alquiler, y otro landlord tenían la casa en la que nos mudamos a pedazos con fugas, problemas de plomería y sin agua caliente durante semanas a la vez.
Ambos tomaron un depósito de $ 6000 que no puedo recuperar.
En la segunda casa en la que vivíamos, alguien irrumpió en nuestra casa y robó mis aparatos electrónicos, incluyendo mi computadora portátil, mi bolso, dinero en efectivo, llaves, carro , y asientos de automóviles para los niños.
Me las arreglé para encontrar mi carro(¡gracias a Dios y a la diosa!) Pero necesitaba reparaciones.
como resultado, nos quedamos sin dinero para entrar a otra casa y habíamos agotado la ayuda de agencias sin fines de lucro para ayudarnos a conseguir otro alquiler. (Ayudaron a pagar una parte del depósito para la casa en la que nos mudamos a la segunda y más tarde descubrimos que tenía todos estos problemas).
Durante los últimos 5 meses he estado viviendo en un cuarto con mis hijos, en la casa de una amiga que ha estado tratando de ayudarme a recuperarme.
Desafortunadamente, mis gastos para mi automóvil (seguro de automóvil alto y pagos de automóvil) han hecho que sea imposible ahorrar dinero para cualquier apartamento que haya considerado intentar mudarme.
Después de saltar de una casa de amiga a otra (los refugios (shelters) han estado llenos)

He creado este gofundme para ayudarnos con los gastos de mudarnos tan lejos del lugar en el que estamos ahora, y para cubrir los gastos que necesitaremos para instalarnos en Fairfield (comida, ropa y otras necesidades), especialmente con las repercusiones de este accidente.
Mis amigos me han ayudado económicamente tanto como pueden con un bajo renta y después un cuarto gratis y mientras sigo trabajando tanto como puedo, sigo sin poder tener el dinero para los gastos de viaje y el dinero para tenernos establecidos en Fairfield.
Se necesita una aldea para criar a un niño, y tengo dos nińos a la vez.
