Help Angie Run Again
Donation protected
On December 14, 2014 Angie suffered a serious stroke and was rushed to the hospital where she was bed ridden for over a month.
On April 26, just 8 months before her stroke - Angie ran the Illinois Marathon after setting a goal the previous year to run the full 26.2 miles.
Angie has been a warrior throughout her recovery process—never losing her faith, sense of humor and determination. During a recent interview with NBC-2, Angie stated, "Since I can't walk, I can't run, but I'm going to run. My goal is to run a marathon again in 2016...and I will!" With the help of physical therapy and prayers - we are confident that Angie will achieve her goal.
Please help us raise funds to cover the expenses associated with physical therapy. Through the use of state of the art robotic braces, Angie is making great progress. However, insurance may not cover all of the expenses involved with this therapy. With your help, Angie can continue her therapy and regain full use of her legs and hands.
Thanks in advance for your prayers and donations!
