Below you will find testimony from Andy Durand himself describing his battle against THREE cancers and how this has taken a devastating toll on not just his health but also his finances. His sweet Susie has to remain by his side and together they have sacrificed so much to continue this fight against the ugly cancer monsters.
Andy and Susie have been such huge supporters of the music and art scene in the Florida Panhandle for many years now. They have supported many others and raised awareness for many a cause. NOW it is OUR turn to show our love and support. Thank you to those who have already given and to those who continue to show support.

Humbled and very grateful Susie and I are for good folks such as yourselves for helping in my fight against these three Cancers ( Acute Myeloid Leukemia, B Cell Lymphoma & Myeloid Dysplasia ) that are trying to kill me. Any help at this time is so very much appreciated more than words can describe my friends. I'm not used to asking for help in this manner at all. So please excuse my awkwardness. We may be losing our home this coming month and have already had to sell a lot of our valuables to pay for utilities, new Med Co-pays that Insurance won't cover anymore,, Pain Management Visits, Car Insurance.. Taking our sweet little boy to the vet ( He's 11 years old but as cocky as I am ) and so many others that are drowning us right now. The help we have already received from the generosity of so many kind souls has gotten us through this last 40 days and I still have at least two more months of this financial nightmare that is beyond anything we can handle at this point.. Some are threatening to even sue us now.. So even if you can help with a dollar or two.. It all adds up to us surviving the rest of this battle.. It will get back to normal for us by the grace of the good Lord above and the kindness and generosity of you good people. Even by simply sharing this post, then we thank you from the bottom to the top of our hearts.. It's getting very scary for us financially right now so please help if you can.

Anyone who knows my Uncle Andy knows that he and Susie are quick to help out whenever family or friends..
My Uncle Andy and Suzie are the ones that really need the help now. My Uncle is facing A LOT of Life and Death heath issues right now..
He is battling three Very Aggressive, Dangerous and Life Threatening Monsters. He is currently being hospitalized for at least a month, possibly even longer, while undergoing very powerful Chemotherapy treatments. They are having to attack each of these Cancer Monsters one at a time. Once one Monster is beat, the battle will continue against the next, if his body can survive the treatments themselves. We all know that my Uncle Andy will fight these life ending diseases with every part of his being, sheer determination and help from the Good Lord God Above.
The Hospital is over 60 miles from their home, 120 miles round trip, with Susie being the only Immediate Family in the area for close personal, visual and emotional support, that his Doctors have requested she should be there as much as possible. My Uncle is needing her with him as much as possible and Susie needs to be with him also.. for obvious reasons. She has to travel back and forth with an unreliable car to care for their Loving Dog Buddy, their home and my Uncle. She sadly had to quit her job of ten years to help care for my Uncle Andy.. her own health as well as the financial responsibilities of a day to day, paycheck to paycheck household. This leaves only his small monthly income which is not enough to cover all the monthly costs, travel expenses, medical co pays, life expenses and then once he is released from hospital, to relocate closer to family that will help care for him. We are asking for your help with donations to cover these expenses as he battles for his life. Anything will help in huge ways.
