Help a friend

A friend of ours in Cavan town has recently got out of an abusive situation and finds herself in a desperate situation. She is not receiving any government assistance and herself and her two children are surviving on the children’s allowance and some help from the SVP.  Her landlord is selling the house and she has to move out by Friday but she cannot afford the deposit etc on a new place. The situation is urgent and they are facing homelessness. In an effort to help out, we are giving away two free roundtrip airline tickets from Dublin to London Southend. (Flights must be booked before Sept 30th for travel any time between Oct 29th and Dec 20th 2017)  Tickets are €10 and the draw will be held on Sat Aug 26th. We would really appreciate any support we can get. You can pay here or else drop an envelope into the SVP in town, or else we can meet anyone in town during the week.
